When should a sports court be cleaned and reopened?
Choose a window allowing cleaning and checks without pressure to return the court to play too soon. Forecasts, shade, temperature, drainage and condition affect planning. Bookings matter operationally but do not determine surface readiness.
There is no single drying or reopening time for every court. Acrylic, porous systems and repair or treatment products can have different requirements. Manufacturer or installer guidance should inform work and return to use. Any product-specific restrictions remain applicable after the visible cleaning is finished.
Before reopening, the operator checks drying as required, remaining debris and residues, damage and unresolved concerns. Rainfall, persistent dampness or newly found defects can delay use. Agree responsibility and criteria before work rather than relying on an hours-based promise. Share the court specification and booking pattern with your enquiry. Cleaning completion is not itself certification that the surface is fit for play under all conditions.
