There is no universal interval for every product, material or site. The sanitiser directions set relevant application, contact-time and rinsing requirements, while equipment care guidance and local procedures may impose further conditions. Work completion alone is not permission to reopen.

Keep children away during cleaning and sanitising. Responsible site staff check that required treatment steps are complete and assess remaining residue, moisture and other concerns. Equipment, barriers and materials used during work should be removed in a controlled sequence.

Where compatibility or condition is uncertain, keep affected equipment out of use while advice is obtained. Sanitising does not repair defects or certify safe play. Agree acceptance responsibilities beforehand, with access restored under the school or managed play-space operator’s procedures rather than a fixed hours-based promise.
