Can mortar, adhesive and construction marks always be removed?

Different construction residues require different assessment. General dust may respond to ordinary cleaning while mortar, adhesive or paint can interact with the substrate or its finish. Their appearance alone does not establish that aggressive removal is appropriate.

Identify the underlying material and available installation or care information before selecting treatment. Recently laid pointing, sealants and coatings may need time or protection. A controlled trial should be reviewed after drying so changes to colour or finish are not hidden by moisture.

Some stains may remain, and surface damage is not removable dirt. Cleaning is not a remedy for defective construction or a promise to return every material to an unmarked condition. Tell Encanto what products were used during construction and where residues occur so likely results and limitations can be agreed with the project team.
